PETONE GALA

The Petone Beautifying Society has organised a gala to be held on the Recreation Ground, commencing on Boxing Day and continuing every day until and including New Year’s Day. One of the first items on the week’s programme is a sports meeting, and many varied sidf-shows and amusement devices, including an ocean wave, flying boats, and a chairoplane will be open continuously for the pleasure of the public. Hot water will be supplied free to picnickers at the pleasant suburban reserve.
