CHURCH SERVICES
Two Christmas services (11 a.m. and < p.m.) will be conducted in St. J ohn e Church (Presbyterian) to-morrow, the Rev. W. G. Dixon. M.A., being they preacher on both occasions. The Rev. R. J. Ho.wie, B.A will conduct both services (Ila.ni. andl 7 p.m.) n St. Andrew's Presbyterian Chinch tomorrow. In the morning he will take, "Worshippers at the Shrine, for his subject, while "Christmas, will be the theme of his evening address. Christmas musical service will be.held nt Wesley Church, Taranaki Street. tomorrow evening, when selections from "The Messiah” will be rendered by an augmented choir. Solos will be token by Mrs. Jean Briggs (soprano). M'ss. Nellie Amies (contralto). Mr. E. W. Bobbins (enor), and Air. R. R. Orr (bass): Mr. H. Temple White will preside at the or.rnn. At 11 a.m. the service will be conducted by the Rev. C. Eaton, who will take for his subject, Mother and C The’ Rev. E. R. Weeks . will ' preach nt both services (11 a.m. and 7 p.m.) in ‘he Terrace Congregational Churcn tomorrow. _ ... , . The Rev. F. E. Harry will preach at H’Tf*3 services in the Baptist Church, Vivian Street, to-morrow. In the morntng, "The Song of the Angels” will be -'■is subject, and.communion will follow. In the afternoon he will address a rally ■•f the Bible class: and in the- evening he will sneak on "The Virgin Marv and Her S’on." There will be special Christmas music at allservices under the baton of Mr. R. Don, with Mr. C. Collins at the organ. — j The Holy Eucharist will be celebrated nt the Chnrch of St. Albany, 19 Manon Street, at 11 a.m. to-morrow A service will be held at 11 n.m. tomorrow in the Maranatba Hall. Lambton Oauv At 7 p.m. an address will be delivered by Mr. D. O. McClav who will take for his subject, "Mighty Events which God’s Word declares must shortly come to pass.” Mr. J Aloore will speak on Big Sayings" (11 a.m.), and “Light, L'.ght. Light" (7 p.m.), in the Sailors Friend -ocietv Church and Institute, Whitmore ’treet, to-morrow. At 8.30. p.m., there will be a song service, Miss Wallwork being the soloist. ; , A Chrisadelphian meeting will be held in the Victoria Hall, Adelaide Road, at 7 n.m., to-morrow, when "God s Message ot Peace”— on Earth, How Will it be Realised!" will be the subject.
