The Manuk;in Perpetual Flax Company, Ltd., offer something in the shape of what, it is confidently predicted, will fullv realise the title of a gilt-edged investment The prospects of the New Zealand flax industry are almost boundless, and the company’s prospectus set? out the advantages to accrue from investing money in flax. A 10 per cent, profit is anticipated tlie first year, rising steadily to 54 per cent, in the ninth year. Even if much less than the figure is reached the investment would be a sound one, and the present opportunity would seem to be well worth the consideration of investors The property for which the prospectus is issued comprises 2288 acres freehold, on which there is no draining required, and which is not subject to floods. There is said to be 5000 tons of millable leaf on the propertv, and a mill is now operating. The company has already received two cheques from sale of fibre Prospectuses on application to the Jk-mukau Perpetual Flax Company, Lti.L, Alliance Assurance Building, O’Connell Street, Auckland.— Advt.
