MOVEMENTS OF MR. COATES
TO VISIT BATTLEFIELDS IN FRANCE London, December 2. It is probable that Mr. Coates will sail on his homeward journey in the first week in January. In the meanwhile he is inquiring into railway fuel economics adaptable to New Zealand. He goes to France next week, and visits the battlefields, and unveils several New Zealand memorials. When in Paris he will present the French Rugbv Federation with a shield on behalf of the Maoris, and will later visit Ireland to receive the honorary Doctorship of Laws at Dublin.
