NEW PENNY STAMP

TO BE ISSUED ON NOVEMBER 15 The Postmaster-General (Hon. W. Nosworthy) announced yesterday that the new penny postage stamp, depicting His Majesty the King in military uniform, will be placed on sale on November 15 next. As pointed out previously, it will necessarily take some time for the stocks of the current issue to be exhausted, but where preference is shown for the new design the King George stamp will b*e supplied. On the date referred to the new stamps will be placed on issue simultaneously at the post offices throughout the Dominion.
