AUCKLAND MUNICIPAL CONCERTS. Dominion Special. Auckland, October 14. A proposal to broadcast' municipal organ and band concerts which was before the City Council to-night drew from the citv organist the comment that the broadcasting of organ music in England had-been distinctly unsatisfactory. It-was, he added, more or. less a caricature of the real thing. The citv bandmaster was strongly favourable to the scheme, -which', he said, was good publicity for the , Auckland Municipal Band. The council decided that all Sunday night concerts, organ and bands should be broadcast, councillors expressing the opinion that the public would not be so critical of the technique of boadcast music as the organist himself. __
