A SPECTACULAR BLAZE
(Rec. October 11, 10.50 p.m.) Sydney, October 11. The fire damage is estimated at £200,000. The blaze was the most spectacular in the city for many months. A wall of flame 50 feet high swept across the street, threaten many other stores, all containing highly inflamptable matter. Besides this, cascades of glowing cinders descended over the roofs for four blocks. The fire raged for several hours before it was subdued.
