TOO MANY INVITATIONS
PRINCE OF WALES’S DIFFICULTY (Rec September 28, 8.40 p.m.) London. September 28. In refusing the Auctioneers' Society’s invitation to its anniversary mutter, the Prince of Wales points out that in recent vears he has found it increasingly difficult to accept even a small proportion of tbe invitations to public dinners. Many dinners of a national or Imperial character cr organised bv bodies with which he is dire -tIv associated he felt he must go to, but was reluctantly forced to refuse invitations of any other character.
