BURIAL OF HOSPITAL PATIENT
NELSON INDIGNANT AT DELAY.
“Dominion” Special. Nelson, September 28. Considerable comment and indignation has been caused by a body being left lying in the morgue at the public hospital for several days before burial. The facts are that a miner from Collingwood (aged 79) disd in the institution on September 17, and it was not until September 23 that the burial took place. The facts are admitted by the hospital authorities. Deceased had no friends or relative? in_ Nelson, cut a brother resides in Christchurch.
