A CITY LOAN POLL
MATTER BEING CONSIDERED. Councillor F. Meadowcroft sought information from the Mayors at the City Council meeting last night as to whether the loan poll referred to some weeks ago was likely to be taken during the life of tho present council. The Mayor replied that the matter was referred to at tho last meeting of the Finance Committee, and a special meeting of the council was under consideration in that regard.
