MISSING MAN FOUND

NOT BURNED AS FEARED By telegbafh.—press-Association. Oamaru, August 16. Robert Kerr Clark, who was missing after a fire in his cottage at Reidston on Thursday .morning, was discovered yesterday in a hut at Kuriheka. Clark appeared hazy regarding his movements subsequent to the fire. He says he went to bed on Wednesday evening, and on awakening about' midnight found the cottage on fire. He hurriedly scrambled into his clothes, and caught up a Gladstone bag, into which he threw his will, his bank book, and a sum of money. After placing the bag m a shed, he wandered off-without any fixed intention, until he stumbled across the hut, nine miles away. [A previous message suggested that Clark might have lost his life in the fire.]
