COURT OF APPEAL
TWO AUCKLAND OASES. At the Court of Appeal yesterday the Bench comprised the Chief Justice (Mr. C. P. Skcrrctt), and Justices Reed. Adams, and Ostler, when two Auckland cases wece heard. _ , In the application of Mrs. Long and Andrew Hanna for final and absolute leave to appeal to the Privy Council, the respondents being Messrs. W. T. Barker, George Barker, and Thomas Barker, in regard to a decision of the Supreme Court, declaring the second of three wills made by the late Mrs. Barker to be the legal one, leave was granted, costa to be settled on Monday. The will concerned an estate valued at £6500. Mr. P. S. K. Macassey appeared on behalf of appellants and Mr. G. H. Watson for respondents. In the case pf Wharehuia v. Davie, an appeal in regard to a Native title, the appeal was dismissed with .£2l costs. Mr. A. M. Cousins appeared for appellant. and Mr. E. C. Leary for respondents.
