Benjamin Joseph Cosgrove, ag«d about 60 years, a retired saddler and conductor of the Waipawa Municipal Band, was killed by a train at the Waipawa railway station this evening. Ten minutes after a train went out the body was found on the line. It is assumed that Cosgrove atlemptcd either to board or to alight from the train while it was moving and fell between t’-o carriages. Deceased suffered severe injuries to the head and arm.
