HOSPITAL BOARDS VIGILANT As recently announced in The Dominion, Misses Moore and Lambie, the New Zealand nurses who graduated abroad in. branches of higher training for nurses, will impart that training at various hospitals in rotation instead of acting—as originally planned—as nurse tutors at Otago University. Although this change of plans, and the reasons therefor, were announced by the Minister of Health (the Hon. J. A. Young) only last Friday, he has ailready received applications from - hospital boards to have the advantage of the new training, and a number of people prominently interested in the welfare of nurses and of their profession, have complimented the Minister on the policy.
