COLLAPSE OF RESERVOIR WALL. ’ Hobart, March 29. The wall of a reservoir at West Hobart crumbled under the pressure of half a million gallons of water, which poured down the slopes of Mount Knockloftv, carrying with it huge stones and debris, and swept down,, finally expending itself in the basin of the citv, flooding houses and doing a great deal of minor damage. There were no casualties, but many narrow escapes.—Press Assn.
