STREET LIGHTING
WHOLE QUESTION TO BE REVIEWED.
The Jfayor (Mr. C. J. B. Norwood) stated at last night’s meeting ,of the City Council that it was his intention to bring 'before the council at a later date the general question of street lighting. He thought it had fallen a little lower than in other cities, but he deemed it advisable to delay discussion of such an important question until the “change-over” was completed. In respect to street lighting, authority was given for the improvements to be effected in Kent. Terrace Reserve os recommended by the general manager of the light department and director of parks.
