“GRADUALLY GOING MAD”

ACCOUNTANT MISSING Br I’BLBauAPn— Press Association. Auckland, January 19. Edgar David Hamilton McEwen, an accountant, has been missing since January 11. He left a letter to his wife stating that he was gradually going mad, and had decided to die, and wrote to his employers in the same strain, concluding: “When you get this I will be among the dead men.” It is thought that he is probably still alive, but has left Auckland.
