William Ames, manager for Tommy Milligan, announced on Saturday night the receipt from London of a cable message from Jim McLaughlin guaranteeing 150,000 dollars for a fight bo. tween Mickey Walker and Milligan for the welterweight championship. The fight is to take place in London in Juns. Ames said that he had cabled an acceptance of the proposition and suggested sending a similar cable to JackKearns, Walker’s manager.—Aus.-N.Z.
