Mr. C. Clark, at present engineer for the Inglewood County, was last night appointed, out of twelve applicants, to the position of borough engineer at New Plymouth, at a commencing salary of £550. His first duty will be to report on a comprehensive water supply and drainage scheme to augment the borough’s present services.—Press Assn.
