HEAT BRINGS OUT BRIGADE. By Telegraph—Special Correspondent. Palmerston North, January 18. Tho Fire Brigade was called to William Cook’s timber and box factory in Main Street shortly before noon yesterday. Exceptionally close weather has been experienced during the past few days, and as tho fire alarm system in the factory apparently could not withstand the unusual heat the 'brigade received another false alarm.
