EXHIBITION TOURNAMENT MISS MUIRSON WINS LADIES’ SINGLES By Telegraph—Press AssociationDunedin, January 18. The Otago Lawn Tenuis Association was again favoured with fine weather for the third day of its exhibition championship tournament at the An- ■ derson’s Bay courts to-day. Although a cold wind made conditions tricky at times for the players, good progress was made until a sharp thunder storm shortly before six o’clock cut short play for the day. Two .of the eleven events were concluded altogether, and the others, with the exception of the mixed doubles handicap, were advanced to the final or semi-final stage. Many spectacular and attractive games were enjoyed by the spectators. The results were as follow: — . MEN’S SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP. Semi-final.—Glanville beat Bray, 6—4, 7—5; Page beat Guy, 6—2, 6—l.
