BATTLE FOR SUPREMACY ANOTHER MOTION OF NOCONFIDENCE . (Rcc. January 18, 11.20 p.m.] Ottawa, January 17. Whdfi the debate on the speech from the throne begins in the House of Commons on Monday, Mr. Meighen, the Conservative leader, will, be the first Opposition speaker. It is understood he will move a further amendment calling for a straight want-of-confidence vote in the Government. The moving of the second amendment will mark the renewal of the battle for political supremacy, which was waged in the House last week, culminating in a victory for the Government by a narrow margin. The indications point to the continuance of a very hectic session of Parliament. ■ Whether the Premier, Mr. King, will be opposed by a Conservative or Progressive when he runs in the Prince Albert election, is undecided.—Reuter.
