GOOD COMPETITION AT LAST WEEK'S RATES.

At tho wool sales competition was keen. The market opened very firm for all descriptions on a par with closing rates last week. Unattractive wools of uneven length nnd doubtful yield were irregular. There was a good demand for comebacks and crossbreds at. unchanged rates. Greasy merino sold to 28jd. per lb. —Press Assn.
