FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY A meeting of flic Management Committee of the Wellington Cricket Association was held last night, Mr. C. G. Wilson occupying the chair. Also present were: Messrs. Ji. M. McGirr, 11. Buck. P. B. Broad. A. Ilonaldson, .1. Hutchings. W. R. Hock. B. 1,. Salmon, and R. jjarroch (honorary secretary). The-Wellington Boys’ League wrote asking what steps were being taken regarding th? arranging of a match against a fourth-grade representative team on Anniversary Day, January 22. It was decided that in view of the difficulty that would be experienced in selecting a team in tho time available, the match be held over until later in the season. The Hutt Club was granted permission to send two teams to the Wai--I’arapa on Friday next. Tho recomm-mint ion of tho .Senior Championship Committee Io forward an invitation to tho Nelson Association 1.0 plav a representative match against a Wellington eleven 1 at the Basin Reserve at Easter (Good Friday, Saturday, and Monday) was adopted. Some discussion took place, as to whether the four loading teams should retain tho points already obtained to decide the championship. Air. Wilson said it would be found that the present system of the, four loading teams playing off for the championship would bo beneficial to cricket. He agreed that it would bo unfair to put the clubs concerned on an equal footing with the. other three teams. Air. Ronaldson said that the fourth positron in the senior championship had >been allotted to Y.M.C.A. according to the Sheffield Shield rules of allocation by means of averages. It was decided that the points be retained.

Tha Senior Champiapship Committee's notion in replacing H.'Massey, of the Institute Club, by L. Brown, of Y.M.C.A., in the list, of eolts for special practice, was approved. It; was decided to request the various clubs to send in tho results of all grade matches, as until those ore in the hands of tho committee it is impossible to allocate the championships.
