WORRIED OVER WIFE’S ILLNESS.

Tininru, January 18. The body of Thomas Hyland, aged 43, a labourer, was found hanging in ti washhouse at Temuka on Saturday evening, the indications being that it had been there for some days. The evidence at the. inquest showed that the deceased was worried regarding bis wife’s illness, and had left a note saying: "I have ruined my dear wife’s life, so good-bye.” A verdict of suicide whilst in a depressed state of mind was returned.
