BOYS SELECTED FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION.

The Ngatiporou Natives have taken recently to dairying, and four youths, ex-students of Te Ante College, are being sent to Hawkesbury College for training in the most up-to-date methods. Their studies will be financed jointly bv the Maori Purposes Fund Control Board and bv money bequeathed by prominent Ngatiporous for the purpose. 'The boys were selected as -the most suitable from the Te Aute College agricultural classes. They were farewelled bv a big gathering of the tribe, which regards them as the pioneers of a new movement for the betterment of the Native race.
