BODY OF P. D. BROWN RECOVERED.

At about 4 p.m. yesterday, the body of Peter Daley Brown, who was drowned on January 10 off a dinghy, at Island Bay, was recovered. The weather has b.?en most unfavourable for investigating in the locality ever since the accident, but yesterday was tine and calm, and tho father of the lad and a cousin wont out in a dinghy to ascertain if there was any chano? of finding the body. Quite near to the place whore the boat was washed ashore the body was noticed against the rocks, and no time was lost in getting it ashor?.
