BARRIER NO LONGER

transfer of cars across ■ STRAIT Cook Strait used to be a fairly effective barrier to the touring motorist, but with the Dunedin Exhibition as a lure at the other end of the South Island, and better facilities for the transpoitation of cars, the Strait holds no terrors for the man who wants to sit behind the wheel the whole journey through.
