EDMUND CANDLER. (Rec. January 7, 8.25 p.m.) London, January 6. Obituary.—Edmund Candler. — Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn. _ , [Edmund Candler, C.8.E., 8.A., was born in 1874. He was the author of eleven pubfications dealing with the East, where he travelled extensively. In 1904 he was special correspondent for the “Dailv Mail” with the Tibet Expedition, and was severely w-ounded in an engagement at Tuna. also correspondent m France for ine W’and the .
