PILLION ACCIDENT
VICTIM MAKING GOOD PROGRESS
Palmerston North, Dec. 28. Frank Mellar, the young man whose left foot was caught in the driving chain of a motor-cycle yesterday, underwent a successful operation this morning for the amputation of two injured toes. 1 inquiries made at the hospital this evening elicited the information that he was making good progress.
