THREE DAYS’ DRINKING
“I was on a fencing job at laibapc and never had a drink for months and months. I would like to get a chance as I am a hard-working man,” said Archibald Maclntvrc, a labourer from Taihape. who pleaded guilty in the Palmerston North Magistrate’s Court yesterday to three charges of drunkenness on' Christmas Eve, Boxinq Dav, and the following day. Mr. W. F. Durward, J.P., inflicted a fine of £2, in default' seven days’ imprisonment, and advised Maclntyre ,to get back to his job as soon as possible.
