COMMISSIONERS OF LANDS
SEVERAL APPOINTMENTS
The appointment of a number of Commissioners of Crown Lands is announced:— Mr. W. Stewart, chief draughtsman at Christchurch, has been appointed Commissioner of Crown Lauds and Chief Surveyor at Christchurch in succession to Mr, G. H Bullard, retired. Mr. W. D. Armit, chief draughtsman, New Plymouth, has been appointed Commissioner of Crown Lands and Chief Surveyor, New Plymouth, vice Mr. I. Cook, retired. Mr. E. H. Farnie, chief draughtsman at Gisborne, has been appointed Commissioner of Crown Lands and Chief Surveyor at Gisborne, in place of Mr'. V. R. Blake, who has retired. Mr. A. F. Waters, chid draughtsman at Nelson, has been appointed Commissioner of Crown Lands and Chief Surveyor at Nelson, in succession to Mr. N. C. Kensington,_ who has been promoted to Invercargill.
