BOXING
AIURRAY A 7. TROAVERN. Boviii" patrons who were present at the first meeting between Alurrav and Troweru in August last will bo pleased to hear that the local association has been successful in arranging a return match between the two, which la to take place on Alonday next. The fast, open, vigorous boxing which characterised the contest in AA’ellington, was a feature of thsir second contest at Greymouth, when Trowern was seen to better advantage, and as the champion could only secure a draw it looks as if Trowern has continued the improvement noted in all his contests since early in the year, and Alurray will have to be at his very best if he is to secure a win on their third meeting. Tho box plan will open on Tuesday morning.
