REFORM CANDIDATE FOR OAMARU By Telegraph—Press Association. Oamaru, August 20. At a large and enthusiastic meeting representing all parts of the Oamaru electorate held to-night a unanimous request was made to Mr. E. P. Lee to allow himself to be nominated for the Oamaru seat in the Reform interests. Mr. Lee, after reading requests from the late Mr. Massey and the present Prime Minister, acceded to the wish of the meeting. Cheers were given ftir Jlessrs. Lee and Coates, and the whole meeting was formed into a committee to work for Mr. Lee’s return. TIMARU AND TEMUKA SEATS. Timaru, August 20. Mr. J. F. Arnold is announced as a candidate for the Timaru seat at the next general election. Mr. T. D. Burnett, M.P. for Temuka, has announced that owing to ill-health he will not be a candidate at the next election.
