PRISONERS SENTENCED

Tn the Supreme Court the following prisoners were sentenced :—Robert Abercrombie Browij, for theft of monevs front his enmlovcr, three rears’ hard labour; Alatilda Ewing (41 rears of age), married, theft of an orercoat, allowed probation, provided site goes to the Salvation Army Home; Eric Janies Richardson (16 years of age), burglary, tlirce rears’ detention at the Borstal Institute. John George Burgess (61 years of ape), a builder, for bigamy, was sen♦‘oncc'd to three months’ hard labour. Tim Crown stated that the case bad few redeeming features. It was curirlis that the wife lived only a short distance from where Burgess and the ■ tlier woman bad lived.
