SCENES OF SOUTH AFRICAN VISITED. Cape Town, June 14. The Prince of Wales, motoring from Dundee, visited the scenes of the ear her battle in the South African Wai. He was given an enthusiastic reception at the various townships.—Reutei. SWAZIS’ IMPRESSIVE WELCOME (Rec. June 15, 5.5 p.m.) Cape Town, June 14. The Prince of Wales, after a long ride across wild, rugged country, reach ed Mbabane, the capital of Swaziland, where he received an impressive wel come, revealing the native in all his primitive, barbaric splendour. Four thousand Swazi warriors, in full war dress, drawn up in lines Lav a mile long, gave a Royal salute, ending in a shrill, p'ercing whistle. The paramount chief, Sobsuza, did the honours, wearing a smart grey lounge suit and grey hat. He was assisted by the Queen Mother, whose head-dress included the red feather of the rain maker, for which she is famed. The Prince was greatly interested in the inspection of the Swazi regiments. • Reuter.
