RESCUE PARTY
TO SEARCH FOR AMUNDSEN AEROPLANES’ TRIAL FLIGHTS (Rec. June 15, 5.5 p.m.) London, June 14. A copyright message from the Farm at Spitsbergen states that a rescue party arrived at Advent Bay on Saturday, and the unloading of the aeroplanes was commenced immediately. Trial flights with both aeroplanes were made in the brilliant light of the midnight sun. The expedition will probably leave for Dane’s Island on Mon-day.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
