OPENED BY ARCHBISHOP REDWOOD. Yesterday afternoon. His Grace Archbishop h’edwo l d blessed and,, declared open tho n-w Roman Catholic day school for girs and small boys at Aro Street. Despite tho extremely unpleasant weather there was a largo attendance of those int-rcslod. The Rev. Father Mahoney, in thanking the Archbishop, said that the school was in a most centrally situated position for the people of St. Mary of iiie Angels' Church. The. land had been purchased for 4:5250, while ths building cost in tho vicinity of .(,‘37(10. The school would bo open for- children on Wednesday. Archbishop Redwood said it ;yive him great pleasure to open a 'new Catholic school.
