f BRITISH LEGISLATION UNLIKELY AT PRESENT. (Rec. May 22, 7.20 p.m.) London, May 21. In the House of Commons, replying to a question whether in view of statements in the Food Commission’s report regarding the operation ot trusts and combines, the Government proposed to introduce or facilitate legislation in that connection, Mr. Baldwin replied that the Ministerial programme was urgent and important. It was so large that it was impracticable to enlarge it at present.—Reuter. .
