The AVellington Ministers’ Association met on Monday, when tlwrc was a good attendance. Correspondence was read from Dr. Valintiuc on the opening of Sundin- schools, also from the Auckland United Evangelistic Association in re ; ward to tli<> proposed visit of. Gips.x .Rodney Smith. The resignation of the Rev W. Rowe was received with rc«ret. Mr If N. Holmes delivered an address on "the work of the federated churches of America, and ojlier interesting matters H-’ was accniMed a vote of thanks. The’Rev? J. A. Allan. ALA., read a paper on “’l’hc Early Christian Attitude to War.” for which lie received the hearty thanks of the association.
