DEATH SENTENCE

COLOURED MAN SHOT DEAD. Perth, March 23. Frederick Morgan was found guilty on a charge of murdering Isaiah Riley, and sentenced to death. The murder took place at Albany. Riley, a coloured man, was driving up the street in a tart when he was shot dead through the back. Subsequently Morgan stated that for the sake of his own wife and family he had shot Riley dead.—Press Assn.
