CHURCH SERVICES
At St. John's Church, Willis Street, tomorrow the services, morning and evening, will be conducted by Rev. Dr. Gibb. In the evening the sermon will deal with ‘•Victorious Possibilities” ("all things are possible to him that believeth”). The services in St. Andrewls Church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. S. Robertson-Orr. At the evening service it will. be "question night,” when answers will be given to such questions as birth control, the place’in the Kingdom of God of the white races, enipty seats in churches, whether breaking the law is justifiable, etc. This will be the last question night for twelve months. The pulpit at the Cambridge Terrace Congregational Church is to be occupied to-morrow morning by Mr. H. D. C. Norwood; and in the evening by the Bev. W. S. Rollings (of Baptist Church, Brooklyn). The Rev. Cecil R. Taylor will conduct /the morning service at Wesley Church, Taranaki Street, to-morrow. In the evening the address will be given by Captain W. H. Hawkins. The choir will render the anthem, “Let Not Your Heart be Troubled” (Trembath). At The Terrace Congregational Church, Rev. Frank de Lisle -will conduct the morning service. In the afternoon at 8:30 afld the evening at 7 special services will be held farewell Miss Edmanson, who is leaving shortly to take the position of matron of the' Tientsin Hospital of the London Missionary Society. The evening service will be conducted by Mr. F. Meadowcroft. " The choir under Mr. Leu Barnes will render Staine’s anthem, "O Day spring,” and Mr. Colin Trim will »ing the recitive from the Messiah, "Thus salth the Lord.” In Thorndon Methodist Church to-mor-jrow evening Rev. W. Greenslade will apeak on “A Beautiful Deed." In the Northland Methodist. Church. Sunday anniversary services will be held at 11 a.m., 2.45 and 7 p.m. The Rev. M. IV. P. Lascelles will conduct the morning service to-morrow at the Vivian Street Baptist Church, and In the evening the Rev. E. T. Olds will occupy the pulpit. . "The Claim of Jesus Christ on the Girl of To-day" will be the subject of address at the People's Popular Service to-morrow evening at the Church of Christ, Vivian Street. This will be a epecial address to young people. Hearty. Binging will be a feature of the service. Other meetings as usual. Preacher. Pastor W. G. Carpenter. Mr. James Moore, the missioner. will conduct to-morrow's church services at the Sailors’ Friend Society, Whitmore Street. The subject in the morning is. "What We Live For.” At the evening ■ervicc Mr. Reginald Scott will sing. There will be a High Celebration of the Holy Eucharist at the Church of St,. Alban, 19 Marion Street, to-morrow at 11 a.m. The Rev. F. H. Dawn will bo the celebrant. At the Y.M.C.A. the usual men’s meeting will be held at 4 o’clock to-morrow afternoon, and at 5 o'clock there will be a strangers’ tea. The Maranatha message for this week appears on page 3 of this issue. Second Church of Christ (Scientist) services will be held to-morrow at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. in Accountants’ Hall, 39 Johnston Street. A testimony meeting will take place in the Dominion Farmers’ Institute, Featherston Street, on Wednesday next at 8 p.m. The reading-room in Cooper’s Building is open daily from 12.30 to 4 p.m.. except Saturdays. Services at the First Church of Christ (Scientist), 46 Boulcott Street, will bo held to-morrow afternoon at 2.30 and evening at 7. and on Wednesday at 8 o’clock. The reading-room and hall is open daily from 1 to 4 p.m., except Saturdays. Sundays and holidays. A Christadelphian meeting will be held to-morrow night at 7 o’clock in Victoria Hall. Adelaide Road. An address will be delivered on "Tho Departure from the Faith as Foretold by the Apostle.”
