EXPLOSION IN BOILER HOUSE
EIGHTEEN PEOPLE KILLED. (Rec. June 3, 7.25 p.m.) Delhi, June 2. A steam pipe burst in a boilerhouse at the Birla mills’ surcharging room, the steam preventing the escape of the inmates. An explosion followed. Eighteen were killed outright and one was seriously injured.—Reuter.
