« CHELTENHAM CREAM TEST CASES. By Teleoraph—Press arroci Palmerston North, May 7. The second of the cream test cases was commenced this morning in the Supreme Court. Henry Simpson and Alfred Wright were charged with having, during October, conspired to defraud the Cheltenham Dairy Company of £2B bv furnishing false cream tests to the company. The accused pleaded not guilty. Die case was \ similar to that heard, yesterday, when Simpson and a supplier named Thomasen were acquitted on a like charge. The jury returned a verdict of not gldlty. and both were discharged. Simpson, with three other farmers whb admitted guilt, will be sentenced in respect of these cases to-morrow.
