MISSING MEN FOUND
ONE OF SEARCH PARTY BELIEVED LOST Br Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston North, April 28. The Messrs. Escott, sen. and junior, who were reported on Saturday as missing on tho ranges between Eketahuna and the Mangahao hydro-electric works, were met by a search party of men on Saturday in the vicinity of the works. They stated that they bad been delaved by fogs and dirty weather. but had taken shelter and conserved their food supplies. They had spent two nights without a fire as their matches had got wet. and they had little food during the latter part of their journey. Mr. Escott, jun-, is an experienced bushnian. Mr. Dunnage, a member of the party wlio met tho Escotts, left to return to Mangahao to advise the camp, and he has not been seen since. He is believed to have been drowned in one of toe gorges. A search is bciug made.
