REDUCED RAILWAY FARES
(Rec. April 23, 8.50 p.m.) Sydney, April 23. From May 1 railway fares in the Metropolitan and Newcastle areas, within a radius of 34 miles, will be reduced, the reductions ranging from a halfpenny to Is. lid., according to the distance. —Press Assn.
