ANNUAL CONFERENCE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, April 19. At the annual conference of the Associated Churches of Christ, four churches received affiliation. The statistics showed that there were 3303 members at the end of the year, with 3328 Bible school scholars, and 379 teachers. There were 54 churches throughout New Zealand, with 23 evangelists. Christchurch was selected for the next conference, at which, Mr. E. Veokery (Auckland) will preside. The conference on , Saturday morning received the foreign mission’s report. dealing with work in Southern Rhodesia. The mission is in charge of Mr. F. J. Phillips, who reported 208 decisions for Christ, 163 baptisms, and 500 cases medically treated. The receipts for the year had been £1422 Ils., and the expenditure £1207. The Bible in Schools report showed that 430 scholars from 23 schools had participated in an examination. The executive will again bo located in Auckland. On Sunday afternoon the conference sermon was preached by Rev, G. P. Ciitriss, South Dunedin.
