Regulations are issued for the payment of the New Zealand division of the Roval Navy as under: — Koval Marines.—Marine, musician, or bugler on enlistment under 17, Is. 9d. : marine, musician, or bugler on enlistment over 17. 2s. 6d. ; marine, musician, or bugle? on enlistment, over 18, ss. ; marine, after 1 year, or on completion of drills. 75.; marine, after 3 years’ man’s time, 7s. 2d. ; marine, after 6 years’ man’s time, 7s. 4d. ; corporal. Bs. 3d. ; corporal, after 3 years’ service as such, Bs. 61. : sergeant. 95.; sergeant. after 3 years’ service as such, 9s. 4d.; sergeant, after 6 years’ service as such, 9s. Bd. ; col-our-sergeant, IQs. 6d. ; colour-sergeant, after 3 years’ sen ice as such, Ils.: colour-sergeant, after 6 years’ service as such. Ils. 6d. (with subsequent increments of 6d. per dic<n.)
