A wide range of pictures appears in this week’s issue of ihe “New Zealand Sporting and Dramatic Review.” making it one of compelling interest to all. The Napier Pa-k Racing Club’s Autumn Meeting is represented in a series of interesting snapshots showing starts and finishes of the principal events, while graphic photographs at the Rosehill Meeting give a glimpse of racing in Australia. Tho centre pages are devoted io the brilliant, musical comedy, “Sally,” giving characters and scenes arranged in striking and artistic fashion. A very beautiful set of illustrations shows the River Seine in flood. Portraits of the Pageant Queens in connection with the Wellington Naval and Military Tournament occupy a prominent position. Ponsonby Swimming Chin’s Carnival. >t Carnival at Wnipawa, Public Works at Motnihi, crews at Wanganui Regatta, Wirth’s Circus, etc., form an attractive series, together with group photographs of various clubs. A bright and interesting overseas selection inchides manv pictures from England, America and the Continent. The theatrical and motion picture world are specially featured in an up to date issue.
