HUGE STORES IN LONDON PROPOSED (Rec. February 8, 5.5 p.m.) London, February 7. A proposal is afoot to establish huge departmental stores te retail Empire products, and also te sell "•holesale raw materials. Die building, will be of eight floors, will be built on an imposing site in the Strane, at the south-western corner of Wellington Street. _ It is suggested that producers provide £1,000,000 of the capital required, and that- the profits be divided on a 50-50 basis. One floor is to be reserved for a buyers’ club scheme, lhe proposal, however, has not yet reacre ed concrete form. —Sydney Sun Cable. _
